Ce coffret à bijoux associe l’ébène blanc du Laos à un dessus en olivier au veinage particulièrement marqué. Les contrastes naturels du bois donnent à la pièce une présence forte, tandis que l’intérieur doublé organise bagues, bracelets, colliers et petits bijoux dans des compartiments dédiés.
Sa fabrication a demandé près de deux semaines de travail à l’atelier, depuis la préparation des bois jusqu’aux ajustements et à la finition. Quatre couches de cire dure ont été appliquées pour protéger la surface tout en conservant le toucher et le dessin naturel des essences.
