Terms and conditions of sale

Article 1 – Scope

These terms and conditions of sale apply to orders placed on ebenisterie-david.fr with Jérôme David / Ébénisterie David, also trading under the name Les Bouts de Bois de G.

Every order implies acceptance of these terms and conditions of sale, the returns and refunds policy, and the shipping and delivery policy.

Article 3 – Products and creations

Ébénisterie David offers handcrafted wooden creations, objects, cases, games, one-of-a-kind pieces, small series, personalised creations, bespoke projects, related services and the products presented on the website.

Handcrafted creations may show natural variations in colour, grain, pattern, texture, shade or minor material characteristics. These variations do not constitute a defect.

Photographs and descriptions are presented as accurately as possible. Slight differences may occur depending on screens, lighting, the natural character of wood or the handcrafted nature of production.

Article 4 – Prices

Prices are stated in euros. Any delivery charges are shown before the order is confirmed.

Ébénisterie David operates under the French VAT exemption scheme for small businesses. VAT is not applicable pursuant to Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code.

Article 5 – Orders

An order is confirmed after payment has been approved. For personalised or bespoke creations, the project specifications, lead time, price and special conditions are confirmed before final approval.

For bespoke projects, a quotation, written exchange or specific confirmation may be required before production. A deposit may be requested depending on the nature of the project; its amount and conditions are stated before payment.

Article 6 – Payment

Payment is made through the methods offered on the website. The order is considered confirmed after payment approval.

Article 7 – Availability

Products shown as in stock are offered subject to available quantities. If a product becomes unavailable after ordering, the customer will be informed and an appropriate solution proposed: additional lead time, replacement, credit note or refund.

Article 8 – Delivery

Preparation, shipping and delivery conditions are set out on the Shipping and delivery page.

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the delivery address supplied when placing the order.

Article 9 – Returns, withdrawal and refunds

Return and withdrawal conditions, exclusions for personalised or bespoke products and refund arrangements are set out on the Returns and refunds policy page.

Standard, non-personalised products in stock remain subject to the statutory right of withdrawal applicable to distance sales. Creations made on request, made to measure, personalised or produced to the customer’s specifications cannot be returned or refunded under the statutory right of withdrawal.

Article 10 – Guarantees and conformity

If a product is not as ordered, is damaged or presents a genuine defect unrelated to the natural variations of wood, the customer must contact Ébénisterie David through the Contact page so that an appropriate solution can be considered.

Article 11 – Liability

Ébénisterie David cannot be held liable for misuse, improper maintenance, unsuitable exposure to moisture, heat or direct sunlight, or conditions incompatible with a wooden creation.

Ébénisterie David cannot be held liable for delays, loss or damage attributable exclusively to the carrier, without prejudice to the customer’s statutory consumer rights.

Article 12 – Intellectual property

Texts, photographs, visuals, creations, drawings, designs, concepts, trading names and other elements appearing on the website remain the property of Jérôme David / Ébénisterie David or their respective rights holders.

The names Ébénisterie David and Les Bouts de Bois de G may be used on the website to identify the workshop, creative universe, collections or associated trading identity. Reproduction or use without prior written authorisation is prohibited.

Article 13 – Personal data

Information relating to the processing of personal data is detailed in the website’s privacy policy.

Article 14 – Contact and disputes

In the event of a question or dispute, the customer is invited to contact Ébénisterie David through the Contact page in order to seek an amicable solution.

These terms are governed by French law.
